About Our Firm Founded during the 1970s by attorneys John A. Drost and Alan W. Schmidt, this small firm in the Lincoln Park neighborhood has been advising clients on practical real estate transactions, estate planning and estate administration for over thirty years. The firm has undergone some changes over that time ; Drost and Schmidt lost one of its principal partners in 2001 when Dr. John A. Drost passed away. Also, the office relocated from its original Southport office to the current address of 2663 N. Lincoln Avenue in 1988. But the central identity of Drost and Schmidt Attorneys at law has stayed the same. The law firm remains dedicated to bringing affordable representation to its clients in a timely manner just as in years past.
