Operational since 1978, First Development Corporation has been developers of specialty and convenience shopping centers throughout Chicago area. The company provides an array of services, such as property sale/ development, brokerage, management, constructions, leasing information, contaminated property buying and shopping center construction. It has developed a number of shopping centers formerly by White Hen Pantry, a former Chicago area convenience grocery store that was one of the largest convenience store chains in Chicago and bought by 7-Eleven. Based in Chicago, Ill., the firm has developed new freestanding Target and Walgreens stores in the Chicago suburbs of Villa Park and Hillside.
